The Hastings YMCA offers Baseball Basics as a program that will introduce youth to the game of baseball with skill development and games. Youth will be taught the fundamentals of baseball that will get them ready for the upcoming Hastings Baseball season. Parents are encouraged to attend and learn the fundamentals of how to practice with their kids at home. Baseball Basics is a hands-on, learning experience for youth in a low-pressure environment. The program is run and instructed by the Hastings Athletics Program and Hastings Legion Baseball players. The kids will be taught by some of the best in Hastings! Includes a free program shirt. Baseball glove is needed.
